Volunteer
A school on a hill surrounded by sunflowers, eight hours from the nearest city. Volunteers have taught, built and fundraised here for over a decade.
You will live on campus beside the girls’ dormitory, eat three meals a day with the school, and be one of very few foreigners in the district while you are here. We charge USD 5 a day to cover food and cleaning.
Whether you are drawn to teaching, to hands-on building, or to helping us grow through fundraising and networking, there is work here that matters. Accepted volunteers receive a Volunteer Manual covering internet, visas, packing, travel directions and the shape of a school day.
Most applications come through Workaway, but write to us directly if you’d rather. We’re happy to answer questions about health, culture, weather, excursions, travel, visas and safety.
What can you do?

Teaching and classroom support
Lesson preparation, classroom activities and one-on-one support — English, maths, science, or anything else you know. Volunteers also run workshops and bring teaching methods our staff haven’t seen.

Maintenance and building
Painting, repairs, gardening, construction. Much of what this school owns was built or fixed by someone who showed up.

Fundraising and networking
Run a campaign through your own network, help with grant applications, build connections with organisations and sponsors.

Social media and digital outreach
Content for social media, updates to this website, promotional material. It is how we reach the next volunteer and the next donor.
